As demonstrated by the pictures below, we realised that the <b>erosion<\/b> was particularly important <b>in an area between 30 \u00b5m and 50 \u00b5m<\/b> before and around the diamonds. When this erosion effect is too strong, it leads automatically to early <b>diamonds pull-outs<\/b>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><table class=\"text-center\" width=\"100%\"><tbody><tr><td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/foxmet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/worksurf.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"274\" height=\"189\" \/><\/td><td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/foxmet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/3050um.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"287\" height=\"174\" \/><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>After several months of studies and trials, FOXMET S.A. has recently developed a new competitive process in order to tackle this problem. Indeed, through a very special granulation technique, FOXMET S.A. has succeeded to incorporate <b>only one diamond per granule<\/b> : the encapsulation.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><table class=\"text-center\" width=\"100%\"><tbody><tr><td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/foxmet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/encaps2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"278\" height=\"208\" \/><\/td><td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/foxmet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/encaps1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The encapsulation of a diamond consists in the deposition of a metal layer around the diamond.
